Wahala

Venezuelan Wahala debuted in the neighborhood picture in 1997. The group’s name, a Nigerian phrase which means difficulty, was a concept of vocalist/guitarist Gustavo Casas, who utilized it to mention a previous task while surviving in London, Britain. When Casas came back to Venezuela, he was became a member of by three enthusiastic music artists, making a reggae and Latin ska work. Wahala’s self-titled debut record was separately released in March of 1998. In June, the music group was starting for Boston-based the Hello there Hats, later taking part in a benefit known as Concierto de la Bottom, playing along with Ruler Changó, Aterciopelados, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, and Los Pericos and starting for UB40 in March of 1999. That same season, Wahala participated within a compilation known as Puro Skañol, released by Aztlan Information, also documenting an EP known as Getting rid of Tamagas. In the entire year 2000, the music group released a live record known as Best Generation.
