Vulture Whale

Birmingham, AL-based music group Vulture Whale had their origins as a youthful aggregation, Wes McDonald & the Fizz. McDonald (from the Ohms), using Lester Nuby (of Verbena), Keelan Parrish, and Jake Waitzman, ultimately decided that these were a music group of equals rather than a leader having a back-up group — therefore the switch of name. With this, they documented a self-titled debut recording released in 2007. In Feb 2009, the music group released its sophomore (and in addition self-titled) recording on Skybucket Information.
