Von Südenfed

Having a name that alludes to Germany’s southern region and a decongestant, it isn’t surprising that Von Südenfed help to make mischievous, boundary-blurring music. A task of Mouse on Mars’ Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner and Fall vocalist Tag E. Smith, Von Südenfed pit Smith’s inimitable lyrics and vocals against Toma and St. Werner’s seems, which borrow from electro, disco, dubstep, grime, and much more. The trio originally worked well together on another edition of Mouse on Mars’ “Clean That Sound,” which made an appearance on the 2004 recording, Radical Connection, and loved the collaboration a lot it spawned Von Südenfed. In 2007, the solitary “Fledermaus Can’t Obtain Plenty of” heralded the discharge from the full-length Tromatic Reflexxions, which showed up that summer.
