Fusing garage area punk’s raw energy with aggressive digital is better than and synths, the Paris-based trio Volt (never to become confused using the German experimental metallic trio from the same name) features Lili Z., Jack port Volt, and FX. Jack port and Lili performed in the garage area rings Splash Four and No-Talents from your mid-to-late ’90s; FX performed bass on Splash Four’s last two singles and in addition appeared around the band’s 1998 U.S. tour. The trio started recording and carrying out collectively as Volt in 2002, and released their self-titled debut EP by the end of that 12 months. The group after that spent a year or two gigging in France and Germany and documenting demos; Lili Z. also documented a string of single EPs, as well as the music group appeared on the 2004 compilation released by In debt. The following season, the label also released Volt’s second self-titled EP. The music group kept active in 2006 by using like-minded acts like the Cleverness and Duracell, and came back to the studio room to record their initial full-length, another self-titled work that found its way to spring 2007.
