Volapük

Produced in Southern France in 1993, Volapük had been initially a trio of drums, bass clarinet, and cello. The trio associates used their musical instruments in expanded jobs, creating uncommon tonal shades; their music combined ensemble enjoy, jazz, and chamber music with a good rock and roll underpinning. In 1973 Volapük’s percussionist, Guigou Chenevier, have been a creator of Etron Fou Leloublan, a music group that (and also other groupings including Henry Cow, Univers No, Stormy Six, and Samla Mammas Manna) became a charter person in the Rock and roll in Opposition collective in 1978. Etron Fou documented six albums between 1976 and 1985, touring European countries repeatedly and america 3 x. Chenevier provides recorded several single albums and produces with Les Electric batteries. He also documented with Fred Frith in the latter’s Speechless record and made an appearance on Morgan Fisher’s Miniatures compilation. Bass clarinetist Michel Mandel received a master’s level in music in the Grenoble Academy of Music. He provides performed in various musical and theatrical configurations in Italy, France, Germany, and Hungary. Cellist Guillaume Saurel examined on the Avignon Academy of Music. He provides performed in concert and on many recordings, and it has performed music for dance and movie theater throughout France. Volapük’s initial record, Tiger Fire, premiered by Cuneiform in 1995. Their second Cuneiform documenting, Slang!, premiered in 1997, and in 2000 they released two albums, the studio room work Polyglot (also on Cuneiform) along with a live record entitled Pükapök, documented when the music group was on tour in Poland and released in a restricted work of 999 numbered copies by Retort Mass media. Polyglot also highlighted the addition of violinist Takumi Fukushima (who acquired previously performed on record and on a Western european tour using the group After Supper) being a visitor musician. In 2003 Volapük released Where Is certainly Tamashii? in the Orkhêstra label; upon this documenting Fukushima was regarded a full-fledged person in the group. After 17 years around, Volapük announced their break up in March of 2010.
