Vladimir Tarasov

Tarasov attained prominence as an associate from the Ganelin Trio (also called the Ganelin-Tarasov-Checkasin Trio), a fantastic group that played free of charge jazz in Soviet-era Russia and Lithuania. He started playing drums in 1961, learning music in Arkhangelsk and Leningrad before emigrating to Vilnius, Lithuania, in 1968. Besides his use the trio, Tarasov provides recorded his single music and performed with such American music artists as Andrew Cyrille as well as the ROVA Saxophone Quartet. He’s also the top from the Lithuanian Artwork Orchestra. Tarasov provides constructed for film and movie theater, and can be an accomplished visual musician.
