Viva Malpache

Los Angeles-based Latin-ska music group Viva Malpache was formed in 1997 by guitarist/keyboardist Roberto González, bass participant Alan Lee, and drummer Esteban Memoryírez, afterwards joined by singer Giovanni Blanco, guitarist Leo Cajina, and percussionist Jesse Gutiérrez. The music group released a self-produced record called Greatest Strikes, provided live at Western world Hollywood’s Key Membership in March of 1999. That same season, Viva Malpache effectively participated within the first Watcha Tour, a well-known Latin rock and roll festival, playing alongside regional Los Mocosos amongst others. When Roberto González made a decision to keep the action, guitarist Fabian Ruiz had taken his place.
