Viva Death may be the punk rock and roll supergroup made up of Trever Keith (In person), Scott Shiflett (In person), Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), Josh Freese (AN IDEAL Group), and Chad Blinman. The five-piece emerged together in middle-2001 when Trever Keith and Scott Shiflett originally started out documenting for fun. What emerged of those periods was the intense, guitar-driven debut Viva Loss of life, that was released on Vagrant in Sept 2002. Their long-awaited follow-up, One Percent Anxiety, arrived in Oct 2006 on Functional Equal Recordings.
