Improvisational ambient duo Viridian Sunlight was shaped in Portland, OR in 1996 by guitarist David Tollefson and synth player M. Griffin. Both their 1997 debut Solar Sound and its own 1999 follow-up Perihelion had been released on Griffin’s very own Hypnos label.
