Biography
Produced in Adelaide, Australia, in the first ’90s, Virgin Black’s lineup features Rowan London (vocals, piano, keyboards), Samantha Escarbe (lead guitar), Craig Edis (rhythm guitar), Ian Miller (bass), and Dino Cielo (drums). Following a series of demonstration recordings in 1995/1996, the group started gaining international identification with 1998’s Trance EP, ultimately signing with the finish Records a calendar year afterwards. Boasting a complicated, cinematic audio, both gothic and metallic in character, their debut record Sombre Romantic implemented in 2000 and noticed their primary lineup augmented by choirs and string areas in the studio room, the easier to embellish their grandiose disposition metal.
