Detroit-based rapper, producer, wrestler, and actor Violent J (given birth to Joseph Frank Bruce) is most beneficial known as fifty percent (alongside Shaggy 2 Dope [given birth to Joseph Utsler]) from the greasepaint-wearing hip-hop duo Crazy Clown Posse. The eldest of three kids, Bruce’s child years was spent in comparative poverty, making it through on clothing from rummage product sales and meals from regional can drives. He fulfilled Utsler after shifting towards the suburb of Oak Recreation area, where in fact the two reluctantly got involved with gang life. In addition they became enamored with rap music, and in 1989 released an individual called “Party near the top of the Hill” beneath the moniker the JJ Males. At age 17, after several run-ins with regulations, Bruce embarked on a brief profession in professional wrestling before developing the Inner Town Posse alongside Utsler and his sibling John. They released one recording, Bass-Ment Slashes, in 1991 on Psychopathic Information, a label they began with supervisor and record shop owner Alex Abbiss before morphing in to the extremely effective Insane Clown Posse. Bruce offers released a small number of single recordings, including 2003’s Wizard from the Hood and 2009’s Glowing.
