Created in 1993 by singer/guitarist Jennifer Olay, a onetime person in the love-rock strap Some Velvet Sidewalk, the Seattle-based Violent Green debuted a year later on with the solitary “You Make Me personally Wish I HAD DEVELOPED a Gun,” the very first release ever within the fledgling Up Documents label. The full-length Eros quickly adopted, and in 1996 Violent Green released their sophomore work, From Cycles of Warmth. Hangovers made an appearance in 1998.
