Jangle-pop music group Vinyl Devotion was led by singer/guitarist Shalini Chatterjee, who shaped the group in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in 1993. Debuting using the one “Sorry Isn’t SUFFICIENT,” in 1994 they released the EP IF INDEED THEY Know You’re Attempting, made by Chatterjee’s then-husband Scott Miller, frontman for the Loud Family members. After the few separated, Chatterjee relocated to Winston-Salem, NC, where in 1997 she constructed a new Vinyl fabric Devotion lineup; starting up with renowned manufacturer Mitch Easter, they documented the acclaimed one “Euphoria,” implemented in early 1998 with the LP Flooring Model. After playing its last present at New York’s Mercury Lounge that November 1, Vinyl fabric Devotion dissolved, and Chatterjee shaped a fresh group with Easter and his previous Let’s Dynamic collaborators Jon Heames on bass and Eric Marshall on drums. Credited to basically Shalini, the record WE WISH Jelly Donuts implemented in the summertime of 2000.
