Biography
Vincent Brantley co-wrote, co-produced, and played all of the instruments with Rick Timas about “Awesome It Now,” a million-selling number 1 R&B/number 4 pop hit for Fresh Edition. Brantley and Timas have been looking to get “Great It Right now” to after that recent MCA Information signee New Release. The group experienced enjoyed hits made by Maurice Starr on Streetwise Information (“Candy Woman”). Brantley co-wrote “Everlasting Like” — never to become puzzled with the same-named music that was popular for Robert Knight/Carl Carlton/Rex Smith — for Angela Bofill, “Strokin'” for Dynasty, “THE FOLLOWING” for Shalamar, “NOT ONLY Another Enthusiast” for the Spinners, and “In Movement” for Freda Payne. A Vincent Brantley related launch may be the soundtrack to Butter.
