Vincent Brantley co-wrote, co-produced, and played all of the instruments with Rick Timas about “Awesome It Now,” a million-selling number 1 R&B/number 4 pop hit for Fresh Edition. Brantley and Timas have been looking to get “Great It Right now” to after that recent MCA Information signee New Release. Brantley co-wrote “Everlasting Like” — never to become puzzled with the same-named music that was popular for Robert Knight/Carl Carlton/Rex Smith — for Angela Bofill, “Strokin'” for Dynasty, “THE FOLLOWING” for Shalamar, “NOT ONLY Another Enthusiast” for the Spinners, and “In Movement” for Freda Payne. A Vincent Brantley related launch may be the soundtrack to Butter.
