Village

Town was formed by Pete Bardens in the wake from the break-up of Shotgun Express in 1967. The trio’s sound was within the jazzy part of progressive rock and roll, which may clarify why these were selected to open up for Chicago at Royal Albert Hall in 1969. They slice a unitary, “Guy In The Moon” b/w “VERY LONG TIME Arriving,” which by no means charted, plus they split up in early 1971. Bruce Thomas became a member of Quiver, later on of Sutherland Brothers and . . . -popularity. Bardens continued to create Camel immediately after.
