Vikter Duplaix

A songwriter, manufacturer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and DJ, Vikter Duplaix was created in Philadelphia and spent his youth jumping between that town and Augusta, GA. As a kid, he created his vocal abilities in choirs, but he had taken a major stage when he started programming drum monitors while working in a Philadelphia studio room. Throughout the last mentioned fifty percent of the ’90s and to the 2000s, Duplaix done information by Erykah Badu, Musiq, Eric Benet, and Jaguar Wright, frequently with fellow studio room rat Adam Poyser. Organizations with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Kenny Gamble became instrumental to his development and stature. With Duplaix’s foot solidly entrenched in modern R&B, a romantic relationship with Ruler Britt resulted in immersion in dance music. He added vocals to Britt’s Scuba task (“Swell”), and in a short time, Duplaix was making his own materials; underground singles like “Text messages,” “Manhood,” and “Sensuality” proceeded to go over well with home DJs, including Experts at the job, who provided “Sensuality” a huge force. Remixes and collaborations with famous brands Jazzanova and an installment in !K7’s DJ Kicks series all led as much as International Affairs, Duplaix’s full-length debut being a single artist. The record premiered in European countries in past due 2002; it arrived in the us early the next year. Daring and Beautiful implemented for BBE in 2006.
