Pop/rock music group from Guatemala Viento en Contra was shaped in 1996 by guitarist Juan Cabrera, bassist Antonio Colom, drummer Javier Ortíz, and guitarist Edgar Pereira. In 1998, the music group participated in the Alux Nahual’s tribute record with a tune known as “Dime Que Provides Olvidado.” That same season, Viento en Contra’s initial album, known as Esto Va Algo Asi…, premiered.
