Portland, Maine’s Video Nasties play messy, sleazy synth-punk tunes about getting bored in the home and viewing slasher flicks and porn. Their music is usually heavily influenced by Chromium, Suicide, as well as the Cure’s first recordings, aswell as Italo-disco. The group’s primary users are B.R. Garm (right here going from the name B. Awful) and Chris Livengood, both of whom had been people of psych-folk music group Visitations aswell as Suicide tribute work AM Frank. Video Nasties began executing around 2011, plus they started issuing cassette singles immediately after. All ten tracks off their first four cassettes had been put together onto a self-titled LP, that was issued by Nourishing Pipe in early 2017.
