Via Sat

Shaped in 1993 from the ex-members from the bloco afro Lamento Negro Pácua (tone of voice/composer), Hamilton 10ório (guitar/composer) and Maureliano (percussion/composer), the Via Sat was closely connected, since its origin, towards the mangue defeat movement — in the end, the Nação Zumbi was also shaped by members of this bloco through the Peixinhos neighborhood of Recife. 2 yrs later they asked bassist Wellington, drummer Junior, percussionists Isaías and Samuel and DJ Big, beginning to perform frequently in the Recife picture, having participated after that in the Abril Pro Rock and roll and Rec Defeat celebrations. In 1998, “Lumumbai”, “Baião de Dois (Dub)” and “Zambo Jungle” had been contained in the compilations Cidade perform Rock, Recife Rock and roll Mangue II and Pernambuco em Concerto, as well as the group documented “Complexo de Cachorro” for the tribute Compact disc Reiginaldo Rossi. Their 1st long participant, Via Sat (2000) got the involvement of Naná Vasconcelos.
