Via App

Dylan Scheer makes organic, hardware-based experimental techno beneath the name Via App. Her function runs from lush, reflective quantities to more intense, distorted monitors, and most of her recordings are captured instantly. Originally from Boston, she afterwards transferred to Queens, NY and became area of the city’s D.We.Y. digital music scene. The entire year 2014 noticed the discharge of her cassettes Pro-V (on Lupin Tapes) and Harmful Game, aswell as an appearance on Khotin’s Hello Globe. The last mentioned two had been released by Vancouver-based 1080p, which also released Via App’s initial vinyl fabric EP, 7 Going, in 2015. In 2016, Objekt included Scheer’s monitor “From Over the Area” on his combine Compact disc Kern, Vol. 3 (released by Tresor), as well as the monitor was also included on the 12″ EP Kern, Vol. 3: The Exclusives. Afterwards in the entire year, Bank Information NYC released Via App’s 12″ EP Top secret Rotation, and Break Globe Information released her full-length LP 6th Stitch.
