Venomous Concept

Type of an intensive steel and punk supergroup, Venomous Idea (the name itself can be an homage towards the music group Poison Idea) were started by Brutal Truth vocalist Kevin Clear and Napalm Loss of life guitarist Shane Embury in 2004. Clear and Embury got bonded over beverage, pizza, and their like of such punk symbols as Dark Flag and these Poison Idea, and shortly were plotting their very own assault in the design. The set roped in Danny Lilker and Danny Herrera of Brutal Truth on bass and drums, respectively, and Hype Osborne from the Melvins on electric guitar. Venomous Concept shortly got a cope with Mike Patton’s Ipecac Recordings, which, getting the label from the Melvins, was a clear choice. Their initial record, 2004’s Retroactive Abortion, was accompanied by a set of split produces in 2006 (an record) and 2008 (a divide with Bloodstream Duster). Osborne ultimately left the clothing, but Venomous Concept soldiered on, and in 2008 released their sophomore full-length, Poisoned Apple. Kick Me Silly: VC III, the band’s lengthy awaited third studio room long participant and initial outing for Period of Mist, slipped in January, 2016.
