Adrian Younge, a synthesist of vintage and progressive spirit, hip-hop, and film music, produced and played everything on the small-run EP he released in 2000. Credited to Venice Dawn, the five-song established resulted in Younge offering the music for the Blaxploitation-styled film Dark Dynamite, which really established the multi-instrumentalist and producer’s profession in movement. The Venice Dawn name was completely reactivated for Something About Apr (2011) then one About Apr II (2016), two dark and cinematic affairs. Over time, presented being a music group, Venice Dawn provides highlighted Younge beside fellow instrumentalists Alfredo Fratti, C.E. Garcia, and Jack port Waterson, along with vocalists Loren Oden and Saudia Yasmein, and many guest artists. Different members contributed for some of Younge’s album-length collaborations with famous brands the Delfonics and Ghostface Killah.
