Velitchka Yotcheva

Canadian cellist Velitchka Yotcheva was created in Bulgaria where she took personal lessons with Bulgarian cellist Tacho Tachev. After earning two contests in her indigenous Bulgaria, she joined the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow at age group 18, where she analyzed with Valentin Feigin and Marina Tchaikovskaya, who was simply an associate to Mstislav Rostropovich, and chamber music with Alexander Korchagin, an associate from the Shostakovich Quartet. Although Yotcheva finished her master’s level in 1992, she didn’t get her doctorate until 2000, which was in the University or college of Montreal, where she analyzed under Yuli Turovsky. A Canadian resident since 1995, Yotcheva is certainly artistic director from the Montreal Chamber Music Culture and the creator from the Trio Rachmaninoff de Montréal, among the top chamber ensembles in Canada. Yotcheva participates in lots of music celebrations in both Canada and overseas, and teaches get good at classes to aspiring chamber music artists.
