Veena Sahasrabuddhe, although regularly hailed like a growing talent in lots of quarters, is actually an established designer. Created in 1948, she started singing in years as a child. She has an excellent reputation and an evergrowing body of recordings to her credit. As well as the materials detailed below she’s documented a seasonal routine known as Rutu Chakra for Tempo House and offers added to Music Today’s Bhaktimala group of Hindu devotional music. Also suggested can be her four recordings of bhajans focused on Shiva, among the trinity gods of Hinduism, for the recording Bhaktimala: Shiva, Vol. 2. (This recording also contains the performing of Umakant and Ramakant Gundecha.)
