Vanishing Twin

Experimental United kingdom pop ensemble Vanishing Twin are led by London-based musician Cathy Lucas (Fanfarlo, My Unhappy Captains). Previously functioning beneath the name Orlando, Lucas designed uncommon electronic-based compositions and conceptual parts which were released over some cassettes before developing Vanishing Twin in 2015. Enlisting collaborators Valentina Magaletti, Phil M.F.U., Elliott Arndt, and Susumu Mukai, Lucas and her brand-new band caused manufacturer Malcolm Catto (DJ Darkness, Heliocentrics) to record their debut record. Released in 2016, Choose Your Very own Adventure melded components of vintage ’60s pop, minimalism, jazz, field recordings, and different other esoteric designs into a tone of voice all their very own.
