Valhalla

Not to end up being recognised incorrectly as the symphonic rockers of ten years previously, the ’80s Valhalla played melodic hard rock and roll and left just a small number of recordings to record their passing, which, for their association with Neat Information, has erroneously lumped them along with the brand new Wave of United kingdom Heavy Metal. Made up of vocalist Dave Howard, guitarists Kevin Hunter and Ian Glenister, bassist Kevin Kershaw, drummer Mick Simkins, and key pad participant Ian Parsons, the music group released its debut one, “Coming House” b/w “Through with You” (component Def Leppard, component Journey, component Gary Numan!) in 1982. After that, after some workers shifts that noticed Glenister ousted and Kershaw changed by bassist David Warminger, Valhalla attempted again a year or two afterwards, via second one “Still deeply in love with You” (b/w “Jack port,” such as “the Ripper”). A little but loyal regional following obviously held Valhalla moving in the interim, but although vocalist Howard recognized himself with effective pipes and great technique, Valhalla’s polished hard rock design simply begged for the bigger documenting and marketing spending budget if they had been going to contend with their major-label counterparts. This might never arrive to move, though, so the bandmembers went their separate methods a short while later, without the further releases towards the group’s name.
