Vagabond Lovers

Vocalist/songwriter Patty Spiglanin formed the Vagabond Fans in 1990 thus she could participate in a real music group. She wasn’t into sector politics or schmoozy plans; she wished to make music, discovering her indigenous Bay Area to get more musical retailers. She and bandmates bassist Evan Eustis, guitarist Michael Zapruder, keyboardist Mike Connor, and drummer Dan Lashkoff preserved a reliable rise more than a ten season period; their clean Americana aesthetic gained the interest of Monarch Details on the dawn of the brand new millennium. The Vagabond Fans finally acquired a routine. Before the times of label support and continuous economic support, the Vagabond Fans dragged themselves through the standard procedure for building themselves a name. Originally tagged the Nude Barbies, Spiglanin and firm independently released three albums under their previous moniker — Dance With Vacuums (1994), Tarnished (1996), and Living Separately (1998) — but had been only successful offering records at regional gigs aswell as gaining a little cope with the German label Blue Rose.
