A versatile Canadian alternative dance duo having a penchant for pairing pulsing electro-pop and drum’n’bass with hip-hop and guitar-driven contemporary rock and roll, USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) formed in 2007 round the skills of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Ashley Buchholz (aka Ash Boo-Schultz) and turntablist/buzz guy Jason Parsons (aka Human being Kebab). Hailing from Toronto, the duo started honing their high-energy live display in 2008, liberating their debut EP, Welding the C:/, individually that summer time. The solitary “Hollowpoint Sniper Hyperbole” became a local strike, and by 2009 the music group was assisting reggae-fusion hitmakers IllScarlett on the Canadian tour, and experienced released their acclaimed debut full-length outing, Questamation. The entire year 2011 saw the discharge of a fresh EP, Approved, having a third EP, the crowdsourced Advanced Fundamentals, shedding in 2014, the second option which was the 1st USS release to find out distribution beyond their Canadian homeland.
