Pop-R&B vocalist and songwriter Ursula Yancy, a local of California, spent her 1st several years on the market like a songwriter. Her 1st major credit arrived in ’09 2009, when she co-wrote “Someone,” the business lead track on Kristinia DeBarge’s Uncovered. During the period of the following 3 years, her profile rose considerably with composing and co-writing credits on tracks documented by Rihanna (“Epidermis”), Tamar Braxton (“Light Candle”), and Sevyn Streeter (“Shattered”), amongst others. Three tracks on J. Holiday’s Guilty Conscience, aswell as Jennifer Lopez’s “A.K.A.,” highlighted her insight in 2014. The next season, Yancy released her debut solo one, that she was acknowledged basically as Ursula. “Down beside me,” a cooperation with songwriters and manufacturers Andrew “Pop” Wansel and Warren “Oak” Felder (aka Pop & Oak), came that February using a sun-drenched, retro-modern audio that recalled Amerie’s use Rich Harrison.
