Uri Gurvich

Blessed and raised in Israel, alto saxophonist and jazz composer Uri Gurvich initial began using the saxophone in age 10. He examined on the Rimon College in Israel and was an associate from the Tel Aviv Jazz Orchestra before relocating towards the U.S. and Boston in 2003 to wait Berklee University of Music in Boston, learning there with Joe Lovano and Supplement Pomeroy. After graduating from Berklee with honors, Gurvich transferred to Brooklyn, and started playing frequently with several ensembles in the brand new York City region and in addition became energetic on the worldwide jazz celebration circuit, which includes used Gurvich and his make of folk-jazz all although U.S., European countries, Japan. and somewhere else.
