Oakland, CA’s enigmatic experimental electronic clothing Uprock Rhizome combine rock, free of charge jazz, improv, and sound using the literate drop of the mash-up. The group dedicated an equal timeframe to performing displays just like the Santa Cruz Underground Music Celebration and delivering gigs with kindred spirits like Otto Von Schirach via their Kelp and Circuits collective. In 2004 they produced their Tigerbeat6 debut with Jungle Green Memes, a cooperation with United kingdom electro-acoustic musician Richard Johnson, aka the Aphasia Group.
