Untied States

Art rock-band Untied Areas was shaped in the first 21st hundred years by childhood close friends Colin Arnstein and Miss Engelbrecht, both of whom are from Sarasota, FL, but relocated to Atlanta, GA, in 1997. Mixing components of traditional rock and roll with sonic experimentalism, the group self-released its debut EP, Parrot of the Bloodstream Feather, in 2003 and adopted having a full-length recording, Ineffable, by Style, in 2004. Both recordings earned reviews that are positive and university radio play, growing Untied Areas’ exposure through the entire American Southeast. In the meantime, Untied States got expanded in employees, adding drummer Jim Early in order that they could perform live. The lineup after that grew to add bassist Andy Jones and guitarist Lindell Todd. Early and Todd ultimately departed, and Wade Web page was added as drummer, so the group was consolidated right into a quartet. They released their second recording, Retail Detail, on, may 2, 2006.
