Ultraista

The electro-pop project of superstar producer Nigel Godrich, multi-instrumentalist Joey Waronker, and vocalist Laura Bettinson, Ultraista take their name in the early-20th century Spanish literary movement ultraísmo. Before hooking up with Waronker and Godrich, Bettinson performed and documented as Dimbleby & Capper, and arose in the same London-based band of music artists that created Micachu & the Forms and the Unseen. The trio’s debut melody, “smalltalk,” found its way to May 2012 to very much online buzz.
