Named after a common drink of vodka, cranberry, and cola, the brand new York-based modern rock and roll five-piece UItra-V — stemming from former alternative rock and roll task Ruth Ruth — composes a solid, derivative mixture of trip-hop and thrash pop. Made up of vocalist Chris Kennedy, guitarists Michael Kotch and Mike Lustig, bassist Maggie Kim, and drummer Christian Nakata, Ultra-V hooked-up with maker Chris Wallace (The Substitutes, Faith FORGET ABOUT) release a their debut, Bring about the Fuego, in fall 2000.
