Fusing artsy theatrics with awful thrash-punk, UK Decay produced their proper debut using the Dark EP in early 1980. At that time, their lineup contains vocalist/guitarist Abbo, drummer Steve Harle, bassist Martyn Smith, and five-string guitarist/keyboardist Steve Spon. Following a handful of self-released singles, Smith passed on and was changed in a nutshell succession by Lol, Dutch, and Eddie Branch. The full-length For Madmen Just was released on Clean in Oct of 1981. The Increasing From the Inactive EP premiered in 1982, additional moving the music group from their early sound. Splitting by the finish of the entire year, the music group minus Spon produced Slave Drive, and then morph into Furyo. Spon produced In Excelsis.
