UFOmammut

Biography

Inspired just as much from the space-tinged stoner rock and roll of Kyuss and Monster Magnet as by progressive rock and roll icons like Green Floyd and early UFO, Tortona, Italy’s UFOmammut was shaped in 1999 by Urlo (bass/vocals), Poia (guitar/keyboards), Alien (keyboards/guitar), and Vita (drums). After liberating their well-received Godlike Snake debut in the entire year 2000, Ufomammut toured sporadically and added odd tracks to varied compilations and tribute albums — especially the Blue Explosion tribute to Blue Cheer. Documented in 2003, their superlative sophomore work, Snailking, noticed Alien changed with long-time maker Hendrix R., and premiered from the Music Cartel a calendar year later. A particular Dvd movie/mini-album entitled Lucifer Music followed in past due 2005 and discovered UFOmammut reduced to some trio once more.
