Mixing dusty-sounding samples and live instrumentation into jazz and downtempo-inflected home music, Amsterdam-based Danish producer Uffe Christensen started producing music when he was a decade old. While developing up in Odense, Christensen resisted likely to his piano lessons but treasured experimenting with examples and music-making apps on his father’s pc. By enough time he is at his late teenagers, Uffe got graduated to using applications like Cause and Reasoning and was producing tracks normally as his graphical design studies allows him. He shifted to Copenhagen at age group 18 and became an integral part of the city’s IDM picture being a DJ and booker, and released an record of hip-hop-inspired paths as Nabo. Nevertheless, Christensen sensed this task didn’t really represent his creative eyesight, and after a rest from producing music, he started documenting as Uffe in 2011 while surviving in Berlin. Influenced by Four Tet’s interpretation of home music, Christensen targeted to produce club-ready music with a natural experience. Uffe’s debut EP, Colours Outside, including the acclaimed monitor “When sunlight Rose,” found its way to 2012 around the Catz ‘n’ Dogz imprint Domestic pets Recordings, and was adopted later that 12 months from the Straess EP, his Tartelet Information debut. After providing remixes for Crosstown Rebels and Obtain Physical, Christensen came back to Domestic pets for 2013’s Occasions All EP. The monitor “Lemon Evenings” made an appearance on 2014’s Tartelet #030 compilation, heralding the discharge of Uffe’s debut recording in the label. Radio Times, which highlighted live recordings by Rewolmer’s Jeppe Lauritsen, found its way to March 2015.
