The German techno/dance outfit U96 is made up of primary members Helmut Hoinkins (the group’s leader), Hajo Panarinfo (programmer), and Ingo Hauss (mixer and song lyricist), who are joined up with by others. Jointly since 1991, the group obtained a big strike within their homeland immediately having a techno makeover of Klaus Doldinger’s soundtrack theme “Das Shoe,” lots one strike which acquired platinum certification, that was adopted consequently by such additional strike singles as “Heaven” and “Energie.” Furthermore with their singles, U96 offers released three albums stateside so far, 1992’s Das Shoe, 1993’s Replugged, and 1995’s Golf club Bizarre, while 2001 found the discharge from the import-only collection, Greatest Of: 1991-2001.
