The Newport Seaside punk revivalists called US Crush were delivering riveting rock riffs as soon as 1992 when frontman Denny Lake was honing his songwriting skills in his former band Atomic Boy. Five years later on, Lake shaped Kickball with guitarist Hodgie Haynes and started skanking across the Orange Region punk picture. It wasn’t until springtime 1998 when US Crush’s pouncing thrash audio would enter into complete type with bassist Ky Lambert, guitarist Dave Hanson, and drummer Dennis Wolfe becoming a member of the group. With the brand new improvements and Lake and Haynes in the helm, US Crush was officially a device. Their debut solitary “SAME EXACT Tale” poked fun at Lake’s earlier day job like a waiter, knocking them into weighty rotation at KROQ. A yr later, the music group released their self-titled debut recording on Virgin/Immortal Information.
