Typhoon

Created in 2005, Portland, Oregon collective Typhoon crafts ornate, big-hearted indie rock and roll anthems in the vein of Frightened Rabbit, Beirut, Arcade Open fire, and Bright Eye. Favoring complex, occasionally fragmented plans peppered with orchestral flourishes, the music group, led by main vocalist and songwriter Kyle Morton, released their eponymous debut in 2005, accompanied by the Dearborn Classes EP in 2007, and Food cravings and Thirst this year 2010. In 2011 the music group appeared within the David Letterman Display to get their New Sort of Home EP as well as the compilation recording From Boy Gorilla and Beyond, and in 2013 the music group released their most ambitious collection to day, the Move Call-issued White colored Lighter.
