Tyler Bates

Most widely known for his post-millennial technology fiction and horror film function, Tyler Bates is a composer whose function also includes tv series and gaming soundtracks. Created in LA, California, he was raised in Chicago and was launched to an array of music by his mom. He started composing music as an adolescent and eventually relocated from Chicago to LA in 1993 to pursue a profession like a film music composer. Through the early to middle-’90s, Bates obtained several B-movies. For the time being, he was area of the alternate rock band Family pet, along with vocalist Lisa Papineau. Pet’s 1996 eponymous recording debut was professional made by Tori Amos and released on her behalf Atlantic Information vanity label Igloo. Besides horror film function, he carved out a distinct segment for himself in the research fiction field, composing music for the movies Slither (2006), YOUR DAY the planet earth Stood Still (2008), and Watchmen (2009). In 2015, Bates also became a member of Marilyn Manson’s touring music group as guitarist after making and co-writing their 2014 LP The Pale Emperer. “Cupid Posesses Gun” in the album was utilized as the starting title music from the supernatural Television dilemma Salem, which Bates have scored. Other highlights in the 10 years included the Jason Momoa reboot of Conan the Barbarian (2011), the sci-fi blockbuster Guardians from the Galaxy (2014), John Wick (2014) and John Wick: Section 2 (2017), both which had been co-written with Joel Richard, and Guardians from the Galaxy, Vol. 2 (2017).
