Txarrena

Produced in Pamplona in the past due ’80s, Txarrena is normally a side task of Enrique Villarreal, the frontman/bassist of Spanish hard rock and roll pioneers Barricada. Released in 1992, their self-titled debut record was essentially a single task for the maverick also called “Un Drogas,” but after 19 many years of concentrating on his even more renowned music group, he came back in 2011 with a fresh supergroup lineup offering guitarist Txus Maravi (La Lengua de Trapo), bassist Eugenio Aristu (Flako), and drummer Brigi Duque (Koma). Made by Haritz Wrighy, their second record, Azulejo Frío, was released in the same calendar year.
