Two Loons for Tea

Two Loons for Tea is really a duo comprising vocalist Sarah Scott and instrumentalist Jonathan Kochmer. The duo emerged jointly when Switzerland-born Kochmer transferred to Seattle after spending years learning biostatistics and evolutionary biology. Scott, who was simply originally from SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, transferred to Washington following a lifetime filled up with music because of her parents’ ties towards the California rock and roll picture. After arriving in Seattle, both met via a shared friend and started performing Kochmer’s initial material while beginning to create with each other. After performing collectively in various clothes through the entire ’90s, both ultimately became Two Loons for Tea in 1999 and continuing to perpetuate their operating relationship. Their 1st recording was an eponymous launch in 2001, mainly comprised of material that they had been focusing on for years. The next album, 2002’s Searching for Landmarks, was even more instant and was the consequence of their writing on the highway while promoting the very first album.
