Within the wake of his “Regulate” success, G-funk producer/rapper Warren G helmed the short-lived career from the Twinz, a duo of West Coast rappers. The timing appeared right. G got scored a big success with “Regulate” as well as the successive discharge of his Regulate…G Funk Period record (1994); the complete G-funk motion itself, spearheaded by Death Row Information, had created an enormous fan base; as well as the Twinz, made up of real twin brothers Deon and DeWayne Williams, got agreed upon a distribution cope with G’s label, Def Jam. The record, Discussion (1995), generated several singles — “Circular & Circular,” “Eastside LB,” and “Leap ta This” — but non-e made a lot of a direct effect. The Twinz added to G’s second record, Take a peek Over Your Make (1997), but their work do small to salvage their stint with Def Jam. The label therefore parted ways using the Twinz, as do G, who himself begun to struggle.
