A one-off cooperation that converted into a supergroup aspect project, TWENTY88 includes singer Jhené Aiko and rapper Big Sean. The duo initial collaborated in 2013 in the Big Sean one “Beware,” which also highlighted Lil Wayne. Both joined forces once again in 2015 for another Big Sean one, “I UNDERSTAND.” 2088 released with an announcement in March of 2016, using the group’s self-titled EP released that Apr by Great Music. The discharge was a conceptual EP concentrating on a imaginary couple’s romantic relationship and highlighted a visitor appearance in the R&B duo K-Ci & JoJo.
