NEW YORK quartet Television/Television were formed in 2006 by longtime friends Josh Sea (vocals and electric guitar) and Joe Esposito (electric guitar), acquiring their name from several media-sharp Berkeley learners in the 1970s who known as themselves “TVTV” and specific in asking politicians challenging queries while filming the replies with handheld camcorders. Rounding out their lineup with drummer Andrew Vanette and bassist François, Television/Television became a normal draw on the brand new York membership circuit, offering rock-driven dance music that never dropped sight from the melodic aspect of pop. The music group released an EP, Something to Obtain Excited About!, made by Zack Odom and Kenneth Support and documented at Tree Audio Studios in Atlanta, GA, in 2008. Simply as it premiered, drummer Vanette amicably remaining the music group and was changed by Camille “Cam” Olivier.
