The project of Duran Duran’s Nick Rhodes and Warren Cuccurullo, TV Mania began within the middle-’90s as a couple of songs revolving around a family group starving for reality show fame — a concept several years before its time. The duo documented the music while their primary music group was on hiatus, incorporating examples of TV shows to their music about religion, style, pharmaceuticals, and video gaming. When reality swept up towards the duo’s tale, Cuccurullo and Rhodes place the music aside, after that revisited them within the 2010s, launching them as Uninterested in Prozac and the web? in 2013 as an electronic discharge and limited-edition vinyl fabric box set.
