Named honoring the actress who starred within the Russ Meyer cult classic Faster Pussycat Wipe out! Kill!, the choice metal clothing Tura Satana comprised vocalist Tairrie B., guitarist Scott Ueda, bassist Rico Villasenor and drummer Marcelo Palomino. The group started their profession under as Manhole, and under that name released their debut LP All ISN’T Well in 1996; rechristened Tura Satana, they resurfaced in 1997 with Comfort Through Release.
