Tryö

Produced in 1995 by friends Manu Eveno (known as simply Manu) and Cyril Celestin (known as Guizmo), who acquired previously performed together in various other rings, Tryo got their name following Christophe Mali (who passed his last name) joined up with. The group composed reggae-inspired music for three guitars and voices (though Manu also performed various reed equipment and Mali performed accordion and keyboards), executing in festivals for a couple years to be able obtain name out within their indigenous France. Shortly they fulfilled percussionist Daniel Bravo (nicknamed Danielito), and in 1998 their debut record, Mamagubida, whose name was made by connecting the very first syllable of every member’s name (plus that of their supervisor, Sebastien “Bibou” Pujol), was released. Two years afterwards Faut Qu’lls S’Activent arrived, and a cooperation with circus troupe Les Arrosés (though it didn’t strike cabinets — in Dvd movie format — until 2002). In 2003 Grain de Sable premiered, implemented in 2005 with the live record De Bouches a Oreilles, that was recorded on the well-known Olympia Theater in Paris. In 2008, the music group returned using a studio room record in the form of Ce Que l’On Sème, that was then accompanied by another live record, Sous les Etoiles, in ’09 2009. Sounding simply because radiant and fun simply because ever, Tryo came back in 2012, making use of their fifth studio room record, Ladilafé.
