Begun this year 2010 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY, Trummors certainly are a folk-rock duo formed by songwriter Anne Cunningham and longtime NEW YORK musician David Lerner, most widely known for some for his many years of use Ted Leo & the Pharmacists. Both multi-instrumentalists concentrate on acoustic instrumentation, incorporating harmonium, fingerstyle electric guitar, and close-harmony dual vocals to their warm sound. In early stages in the group’s lifestyle, Cunningham and Lerner shifted from Brooklyn’s bustle towards the significantly calmer environment of Woodstock in upstate NY. Trummors’ first recording, Over and Round the Clove, premiered in-may of 2012 and shown their recent switch of scenery, using its lushly earthy tunes and somewhat psychedelic filter on the ’70s pop audio. Cunningham and Lerner had been joined around the documenting by dobro participant Marc Orleans and Chris Zaloom on pedal metal. The came back in 2014 with sophomore recording Moorish Highway, growing somewhat on the rustic folk audio with a bunch of guest music artists.
